For anyone who hasn’t been keeping up, we’re looking at houses in Austin, Texas.
This one looks interesting. It’s in Avery Ranch on the NW side of Austin. Check out this link: Map View (Netscape + Plugin required). Anyone looking for a nice home in South San Jose?
I stopped off this morning at the Dunkin’ Donuts on the way in to the office, no surprises there…
but it was really busy this morning, could have been because I was running a little late, I guess. There was a fire alarm in the hotel at like 6:15 this morning, turned out to be a false alarm, but was a rude awakening anyway
. So, since I was up, I decided to check into updating this site to the latest release of WordPress. It had been getting hit pretty hard with comment spam, and b2 (the old software) didn’t have an effective way to manage or quickly delete the spam. Anyway, the upgrade went pretty well, it just meant that I didn’t get out of the hotel until around 9:15, instead of 9:00. So, anyway, back to DD… I’m sure my buddy David would have gotten a good chuckle watching the folks in line, especially this one woman, so… East Coast. She had some attitude… as opposed to the friendly demeanor of some people from California. Surly is good, I keep trying to convince David of that, but, well… he’s not buying.
Well, I updated to WordPress this morning, the blogging software on this site… What did I break?
The weather in Boston was really nice today, and FINALLY the shipping guys showed up to take the equipment that I came here to have shipped out. Walked along the Charles River a couple times today, to get lunch, and then dinner too. It looks like it might warm up a bit over the weekend, which would be OK, we’re planning a day trip out to P-town on Saturday. I have to figure out where I got the theme that I had on WordPress before… this one is kinda bland and boring.
In Boston this week, working…
Well, for some reason, this machine was offline yesterday, but it’s back now. Last night was the closing event for Extreme Blue Austin Summer 2004, and it was a blast. This crew of interns was awesome…
