Took the opportunity on this holiday weekend to get away for a bit, so I am in Boston for the weekend. Program starts on Tuesday, and it’s been a helluva time getting the lab set up, but I think we’re ready… and I needed a break! Will probably see a movie tomorrow night at the Boston Common Loews theater with Nhut, then off to P-town on Sunday. I’m sure there will be pictures soon
:-)
A friend of mine hooked me up with a Google gmail account. Looks like folks are selling them on ebay now. Interesting…

First gays marry; many seek licenses… I better run out to see if the sky is falling, brb…
San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom said Monday that he felt neither vindicated nor wistful, but proud watching the rush to the altar in New England.
“Over the last several weeks, there hasn’t been the kind of intense public scrutiny or dialogue around what’s happening in Massachusetts because we have already seen a little bit of what we are going to see there in San Francisco,” Newsom said. “The significance of that is it goes to our point, which is the sky will not fall and the world does not come to an end. . . . People are moving on and realizing that life is bigger than this controversy and that their lives continue, regardless of other lives being advanced and affirmed.”
I’ve been so busy with travelling and work, I forgot to post anything here for a while. So, I’ve been in Austin for a couple weeks, then off to Orlando for a conference. Of course, being that close to DisneyWorld, I had to go. In fact, I met up with my mom and stepfather, and Nhut flew in too. We went to Epcot, Magic Kingdom and MGM Studios while we were there. Pictures are here.
Back in Austin again, starting today for a few months. Who’s coming to visit?
